Denise Laural finally came out in the open and admitted that she is now a mother

Late last year ay pumutok ang balitang nagdadalang-tao ang Kapamilya star na si Denise Laurel.

Nagsimula bilang blind item, hanggang sa diretsahan na siyang pangalanan.

Pero nang subukan ng press na kumpirmahin ito mula sa kampo ni Denise—partikular na ang kinabibilangan niyang talent management na ALV Productions ni Arnold Vegafria—ay itinanggi nila ang balita. 

Ang nakapagtataka lang, kasabay ng balitang buntis si Denise ay ang bigla nitong pagkawala sa kinabibilangan niyang soap opera noon—ang Kristine. Kasama ni Denise dito sina Cristine Reyes, Zanjoe Marudo, at Rafael Rosell.

Noong Sabado, September 3, ay muling napanood si Denise sa pamamagitan ng pagganap niya sa drama anthology ng ABS-CBN na Maalaala Mo Kaya.

Kahapon, September 4, pagkatapos ng ilang buwang espekulasyon, finally ay inamin na ni Denise sa live interview sa kanya ni Boy Abunda sa The Buzz na isa na siyang ganap na ina. 

DEFENDING HER MANAGER. Pinasalamatan muna ni Denise ang kanyang home network at ipinagtanggol din niya ang kanyang manager na si Arnold Vegafria.

"You know, not everybody knows this, but he [Arnold] defended me talaga through the end.

"He didn't know anything until the middle na of the whole process. 

"And he answered for me, through and through, he was solid for me," saad ng nagbabalik-showbiz na aktres.

NO REGRETS. Wala bang panghihinayang that it happened when she was actually at the peak of her career?

"Well, Tito Boy, let's put it this way... Ang tagal kong nasa industry. I've been in show business for thirteen years. 

"Everybody was telling me, 'Bakit ang bagal bago ka sumikat? Bakit hindi ka pinapakanta? Bakit ayaw kang bigyan ng lead role? 

"People are always asking me and I always say the same thing: 'In God's time.'

"Now, if God gave me a taste of what I want, I got the taste of it.

"But you know, I really work hard, and I love every part of it, so there's nothing to regret. 

"I've worked with different people. I got to work with Direk Cathy [Garcia-Molina], Direk Rory [Quintos], Direk Lauren [Dyogi]... all these wonderful people.

Princess Snell denies being preggy with Manny Pacquiao's child

Ngayong gabi, September 9 ay muling nag-trending topic sa Twitter Philippines si pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao.

Ito ay dahil sa napabalitang planong tumakbo ng Sarangani congressman bilang gobernador sa 2013 elections at bise presidente naman sa 2016.

Bukod dito ay napag-uusapan din ang tungkol sa isang blind item na kumakalat tungkol sa isang may asawang personalidad na nakabuntis daw ng isang young actress.

Ayon sa mga usap-usapan sa Twitter, ang tinutukoy ng blind item na ito ay si Manny raw at ang young actress naman daw ay ang Starstuck V avenger na si Princess Snell.

Kani-kanina lang ay nakausap ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) sa telepono si Princess habang pauwi ito galing sa taping ng programang Startalk.

Hindi nagdalawang-isip si Princess na sumagot sa mga katanungan tungkol sa isyu.

Ayon kay Princess, "I didn't know [na pinag-uusapan na pala ako].

"Pagdating ko sa trabaho, sinabi na lang sa 'kin ng mga kasamahan ko na gano'n nga daw.

"It's not true," paglilinaw ng 19-anyos na host-actress.

Hindi rin lubos maisip ni Princess kung saan nagmula ang tsismis na ito.

"I have no idea. Noon, I got a text na random lang. Someone told me if I'm pregnant.

"Hindi ko naman pinansin kasi akala ko kalokohan lang.

"Then after, mga two, o three weeks ago, sinasabi sa kin na nasa FB [Facebook] na.

Ano sa tingin niya ang dahilan kung bakit pilit siyang inili-link kay Manny bagamat minsan na nitong nilinaw na wala silang ugnayan sa isang interview niya sa Startalk?

"Ewan ko. Siguro gusto nilang sirain si Manny or gusto rin nila akong sirain, kasi apektado din naman ako dito," saad niya.

Coco Martin and Matteo Guidicelli fistfight incident was because of Maja Salvador

Maja Salvador could not stop her tears from falling while she answered issues regarding a fight between Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin co-star Coco Martin and boyfriend Matteo Guidicelli on The Buzz. First off it was already a revelation for her to admit her relationship with Matteo. Second, she was also honest enough to say Coco and Matteo fought because of her at the Manila Peninsula during the Star Magic Ball last Saturday. “Ako po,” Maja told Boy Abunda but she refused to reveal more details as to why the two had to result to a fist fight.

However, Maja says she doesn’t know what will happen now to her relationship with the young heartthrob after what transpired at the ball. “Opo (may relasyon kami ni Matteo) pero pagkatapos po ng nangyari kagabi hindi ko po alam kung saan papunta (ang relasyon namin).”

In an in depth report by The Buzz, some sources revealed that Matteo has long been jealous of Maja’s teleserye co-star. It was also obvious that the two were not on good terms as both were aloof about being dateless at the Star Magic Ball red carpet. But when the press asked them about this, both were quick to deny any problems. What was said to have triggered the altercation is Matteo seeing Coco greet Maja with a kiss but the actress also denied this was the reason of the fight.

Star Magic, which manages the career of the three artists involved, has issued a statement regarding the incident. “What happened was just a simple misunderstanding. Both Coco and Matteo were sorry it happened. Everything has been resolved.”

The Buzz’s report also stated that Star Magic boss, Johnny Manahan, had already talked to the actors and both already said their apologies.

Andi Eigenmann finally named the father of her unborn child.

At first Andi refused to openly name him. But now, months after news of her pregnancy spread, she has completely named the father of her unborn child.

"Maybe instead of feeling bad that Albie (Casiño) left me to take on this responsibility by myself, I should thank him for giving me the opportunity (to) go out and find genuine happiness once again," Andi said in her post "#welliwasneverreallytheconventionaltype" on Sunday, September 4 in her blog "The Good That Won't Come Out Chapter: Deux" at andieigengirl.posterous.com.

Andi stressed out that while she is not anticipating for Albie to take on the responsibility, she hoped he will grasp his role in due course.

"I'd obviously love for him to be around eventually. You know, to save myself the struggle to find a good way to explain his absence to his child. At the same time, I'd understand. Cus after all, I have no idea who or what kind of a person all the fame and fortune has turned him into now. All I hope is that he's well," Andi posted.

Angel Locsin at Phil Younghusband ng sama sa Paris

Sa ginanap na story conference ng gagawin niyang pelikula with John Lloyd Cruz, sinabi ni Angel Locsin na nagkasama nga sila ni Phil Younghusband sa Paris, France dahil sumunod doon ang football star. Pumunta kasi ang aktres sa City of Lights para sa screening ng kanyang pelikulang In The Name Of Love. “First time ko mag show don, puno [ng tao] nakakatuwa ang mga tao don. Akala ko nga ‘di na sila manonood kasi lumabas na ‘yung DVD ng [movie].”

Aniya, medyo naging maiksi nga lang ang bakasyon nila at kaunti lang ang kanilang nalibot. Hindi raw yun ang first time na makapunta ni Phil sa Paris pero nung magpunta raw siya doon ay di ito nakapasyal dahil may laro sila noon. Ito naman ang first time ni Angel sa Paris.

Nang tinanong kay Angel kung ano na ang estado ng kanilang relasyon, ang sagot ng dalaga, “Nahihirapan na akong humarap sa inyo. Kasi parang pare-pareho ang sinasabi ko. ‘Pag sinabi [ko] naman hindi naniniwala. Basta ako, tahimik lang ako. Gusto ko lang munang i-make sure, kilalanin [ang isa’t-sa]. Basta masaya kami.”

Naitanong din sa aktres kung hindi ba nagugulat si Phil sa atensyong ibinibigay sa namumuong relasyon nila ni Angel. Ibinida pa nga ng aktres na si Phil pa mismo ang nagsabi sa kanya na huwag masyadong alalahanin ang sinasabi ng ibang tao. “Clueless kasi siya kung bakit may issue. Hindi niya maintindihan kung bakit may isyu, hindi niya alam. Kasi hindi naman sanay na kung paano ang media,” paliwanag ni Angel. “Hindi niya alam na popular siya kasi di naman niya iniisip dati. “Sa totoo lang as much as possible ayoko talagang napag-uusapan ‘yung personal kong buhay. Wala naman siya. Pero artista [ako]. Ang hirap lang ngayon ang bawat gawin alam ng iba. Pero okay naman.”

Tinanong si Angel kung magiging open ba siya na sabihin kung sakaling magkaroon ng development ang kanilang relasyon ni Phil. “Actually feeling ko nga alam na ng lahat ang nangyayari sa amin ngayon. Nagbakasyon kami don [Paris] kasi ‘di namin nagagawa dito ‘yon. Siyempre masaya na sinundan ka niya sa Paris.”

Charice at Teens Choice Awards

Sam Milby couldn't find a word to say when he was informed that Kim Chiu has a crush on him kaya she had her bedroom designed after Sam's.

Sa interview ng “Showbiz News Ngayon,” Sam said: “Anong masasabi ko? Ha ha ha. Siyempre lahat ng tao na nakakita ng kuwarto ko, natuwa sila kasi sa labas mukang dalawang palapag lang yung bahay ko, tapos pagpasok sa kuwarto ko, natututwa sila. Natutuwa din ako na natutuwa din si Kim sa bahay ko.”

Sinabi pa ni Sam na Kris Aquino was actually teasing him on Chiu.

“Si Ate Kris kasi sabi niya ‘Ay si Kim single din siya.’ Gusto ni Ate Kris na liligawan ko siya,” he said. The actor, however, said that he maintains and good friendship with Chiu and he actually finds her nice. “Friends friends naman kami with sina Maja and other friends din. We’ve hung out before. Mabait talaga si Kim. Maganda siya inside and out,” he said. :)

Phil Younghusband denied the rumor of having a non-showbiz girlfriend while courting Angle Locsin. Ayon sa lumabas na report, KC del Rosario daw ang pangalan ng non-showbiz girlfriend ni Phil.

During Phil's interview on The Buzz, he said, "There's no truth to the story. I do not know any KC or we may have been introduced before. I've already talked to Angel about the rumors and we both know, there's no truth to it. I have spent the last few days of my free time with her before I leave for Germany tonight."

Coleen Garcia Biography

I've been hearing a lot about the beautiful newbie Coleen Garcia. Her name even came up on top on Yahoo.ph. And so, I have decided to make a research about her.

Coleen Ortega Garcia, 18 years old this year, was born on September 24, 1992 in Mandaluyong City, Philippines. She currently resides in Parañaque City and is of Spanish and Filipino descent.

Coleen was asked to join showbiz right after being discovered from her recent commercials. Her career as a commercial model started when she was around 2 years of age, debuting with her mother in a commercial for Johnsons & Johnsons. Ever since then, she has been involved in doing commercials, usually with her mother (in the past). More recent ones include that of SkinWhite, where she starred alongside Mr.John Lloyd Cruz, along with that of Lewis & Pearl Cologne, where she starred as "Angel" and had her first appearance onscreen with current love team partner Enrique Gil. Her latest break in her commercial modeling career is that of the Nestea commercial series, where she stars as "Matina" alongside Neil Coleta.

Aside from being a commercial model, Coleen also has experiences in being a model/endorser. She first started endorsing and ramp-modeling for Just G, the TEENS line for Gingersnaps, as their image model, when she was about nine years of age. Her contract with Gingersnaps went on for two years. Currently, Coleen is signed with BNY as the image model for their TEENS line for casual apparel. Apart from being involved in show business, Coleen is also a student; currently a college freshman who had once been awarded as the top scholar of Southville International School and Colleges' TOPS academic scholarship program, and former editor-in-chief of her high school's school paper, entitled "The Wire", as well as member of her school's Student Council and outreach organization. She is also a proud Christian who attends worship services in CCF (Christ Commission Fellowship).

Phil Younghusband admitted that he and actress Angel Locsin have gone out together, but says, "We haven't done any formal date yet." It may be recalled that the English-Filipino footballer first asked Angel out for Valentine's Day on Twitter. This post so created a buzz, it became entertainment headline the following day.

In an interview with the 23-year-old athlete, who was launched as the newest endorser of Hush Puppies this afternoon, March 2, at the Resorts World Manila in Pasay City, he related that he and Angel have gone out a couple of times already.

"One time we went to the firing range. Another time with friends and family. We haven't really been out in public," Phil said.

YES! pieces the tale together by speaking to all of the people who played both major and minor parts in the entire story. The 39-page article airs the sides of Sarah's mom Mommy Divine, her close friends Sharon Cuneta, Judy Ann Santos,and Beth Tamayo, personal assistant Anna Dasig, loveteam partner John Lloyd Cruz, Cristine, Rayver, and Sarah herself.

A four-hour interview with Mommy Divine in the Geronimo household reveals her devotion to her family, a devotion that many have criticized as overprotectiveness. Mommy Divine admits that she does not think Sarah is ready to entertain suitors.

"Vocal naman ako na hindi ko naman pinagbabawalan ang anak ko totally. But for now,sabi ko, hindi pa dapat, kasi nakikita kong iba siya sa mga kaedad niya na talagangexposed, na alam na nila kung paano paikot-ikot, kung paano sumuong sa ganoong relasyon at kung paano lumabas. 'Yong anak ko, hindi, e."

She says that Sarah is too naïve, too trusting, and thus, requires her guidance.

"Sa nakikita ko sa kanya, hindi siya talaga puwedeng pabayaang mag-isa. 'Yon ang nakikita ko kung bakit palagi ko siyang ginagabayan sa ngayon," she says. She also tells YES! about her belief that God will provide the right partner for her daughter, and that it is through her, as Sarah's mother, that His will shall be revealed.
